Today's SOLAR ECLIPSE on May 20, 2012

Solar Eclipse occurs when the moon lines up with the sun, blocking the sunlight. The complete solar eclipses are rare then partial eclipses, like this one. The eclipse is fascinating to observe, but it cannot be seen with naked eye. The solar glare is too strong, almost blinding; special dark lenses are required to see the eclipse comfortably. Dark glasses (4 glasses together), beer or wine bottles, or the #14 welding glass will help see the solar eclipse. Solar eclipse is a fun and educational event for the whole family, scientists, people working in the observatory, astronomy scholars and astrology students; children love it, too. This solar eclipse was occurring during the sunset, and it was still light, but the video is shot through special dark glass, so the area surrounding the sun and the moon in the video looks dark.
