Queen Mary Ship resides in Long Beach, California. It has sailed it's last voyage long ago, but now it serves as a center of entertainment, dining, and hospitality; not talking about housing ghosts.
The ship has a panoramic view of Long Beach; the beautiful ocean, the boats and yachts, and numerous bridges, stretching over the water. The guests could also see the Carnival Cruise Ships, since Queen Mary is walking distance away from the cruise terminal. The Long Beach Convention Center is also in the view.
The ships restaurants are fun places to dine and meet new people. The staterooms have great capacity to house tourists and locals; honeymooners like them, too.
The engine room is an interesting place to visit. Be prepared to see huge machinery and sophisticated technology that was used on ships of the World Ward II times. The museum of ship's history would tell how the soldiers used it during battle. During peaceful times the ship transported passengers, famous people, even royalty.
The ghost stories are still intriguing and inviting people to stay. I haven't seen one, but, maybe you might...
Other attractions for Queen Mary guests could be visits to Long Beach's Aquarium, a short boat ride to Catalina Island, or a small cruise around the Beach, viewing the marina and the "gas stations" for the ships in the ocean. Interesting!
